Privacy Policy

Flying Strategies LLC d/b/a CruiseNCrawl ("CruiseNCrawl", "we", "us") makes the CruiseNCrawl app and the cruisencrawl.com website. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the CruiseNCrawl app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information

• Your email address and a username you choose.
• Your password. It is handled by our authentication provider and stored in protected (hashed) form. We never see it in plain text.
• An optional profile photo, if you add one.

What you create in the app

• Cruises and crawls you log, the venues you check off, and notes you type (such as bartender names and drinks).
• Favorite venues, custom or group crawls (name, date, time, meeting location, description), and Scavenger Hunts you save.

Invitations

• If you invite someone to a crawl, the email address or phone number you enter for them, and any optional message.

Subscription status

• Master Crawler subscriptions are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we do not receive your card or payment details.
• Our subscription provider (RevenueCat) receives purchase and subscription information linked to your account ID so we can unlock Master Crawler features. We store your subscription status in your account.

Emails you ask for

• If you ask the app to email you a crawl summary, we use the email address you provide to send it.

Support

• Messages you send to us, and the contact details in them.

Technical information

• Our service providers may automatically log basic technical information such as IP address and device or browser type when you use the app, for security and reliability.

We do not sell your information. We do not show advertising, we do not use advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. The app does not use your precise location and does not access your contacts.

How we use information

• To create and run your account and provide the app's features.
• To sync your cruises, crawls and saved items across your devices.
• To confirm and manage your Master Crawler subscription.
• To send emails you request and to respond to support requests.
• To keep the app secure, fix problems, and improve it.

Who we share information with

We use service providers who process information on our behalf, only to run the app:

• Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
• Lovable: web hosting for the app.
• RevenueCat: subscription management.
• Apple: App Store purchases and subscription billing.
• Resend: delivery of emails you ask us to send.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the app, or as part of a business transfer such as a sale of the app.

What other people can see

• Your username and profile photo can be seen by people you crawl with.
• Details of a group crawl (name, date, time, meeting location, description) are visible to people you invite and to participants, and to other users if you mark the crawl public.
• Profile photos are stored in public file storage, so anyone with the link to your photo can view it.
• Your notes, venue check-offs and saved Scavenger Hunts are private to your account.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app: go to Profile and choose Delete My Account. This permanently deletes your profile, cruises, crawls, saved Scavenger Hunts, favorites, group crawls you created, and your sign-in. You can also email appsupport@cruisencrawl.com to ask us to delete your account.

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. To stop renewal, cancel the subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. Limited copies of information may remain in provider backups or logs for a short period, or where we are required by law to keep it.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

CruiseNCrawl is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can view and update your username and profile photo in the app, and delete your account as described above. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights to access, correct or delete your personal information. To make a request, email appsupport@cruisencrawl.com.

Where information is stored

Our providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
